We’ve all heard it before… “Use this homemade remedy for (fill in the blank) and save yourself a trip to the doctor!” It seems as though most of us are willing to spend more time and effort researching DIY solutions than simply make a quick phone call and setting up an appointment. These cost-effective methods are especially popular when it means we can skip out on visiting the dentist. Now while it is certainly possible that more than a few home remedies have proven to be effective (shout out to the classic baking soda on the toothpaste combo,) just how many of these DIY projects can we count on to positively impact our smile?
